SRAM Launch Eagle X1 Drivetrain with Massive 500% Gear Range

SRAM have launched the SRAM Eagle X1 1-by drivetrain which includes a massive 500% gear range via a 1×12 with a 10×50 tooth cogset.

The Eagle X1 will be available at retail in June, and will come in XX1 and X01 levels at MSRPs of $1,417 and $1,193, respectively.

XX1 is reported to weigh in at 1,456 grams and is aimed at high wattage XC racing and Cross Triathlon. SRAM claims the X01 is engineered for more aggressive trail riding and enduro racing and weighs in at 1,502 grams.
