Nisramont, Belgium – The Nisraman is one of Belgium’s most difficult cross triathlons and Yeray Luxem claimed his 4th win on Sunday, July 24th, 2016. Wouter Van Der Mast lead the race out of the water and extended his lead during the first portion of the bike. Luxem took over the lead during a very technical section of the mountain bike and was able to hold on for the win during the run. Tim Hemel moved up to second and Van Der Mast ended third on the day. In the women’s race, Sandra Wassink, Inge Roelandt, and Sjoukje Defour shuffled around several times, but Wassink’s strong run earned her the title of champion. This was Wassink’s first win at Nisraman.
