SRAM and MapMyRide Team Up To Get More Women On Mountain Bikes

Ladies, get on your mountain bike in August and win some awesome gear.

SRAM and MapMyRide.com have teamed up for The Mariposa Challenge throughout August to encourage more women to ride mountain bikes.

The first 50 entrants will get a goodie bag. Prizes for the top 3 places include:

  • 1st place — XX1 Group
  • 2nd place — RockShox Pike Suspension Fork
  • 3rd place — SRAM Guide Ultimate Disc Brakes

ADD UP YOUR SUMMER MOUNTAIN BIKE ADVENTURES AND EVERYONE WINS

Test yourself this August in The Mariposa Challenge, a month-long, digital, mountain bike event for women. Log your daily riding adventures on MapMyRide and measure yourself against other women in your area and across the USA. At each participating store location, the top 3 riders will win Troy Lee Designs Mariposa jerseys.

RULES

From August 1-31, 2015, SRAM is challenging women across the country to get out and ride. Select your store and challenge yourself to ride for the most distance and best time. One ride will count per day. If you record multiple rides per day, the ride with the longest distance will count toward the Challenge. Rides must be recorded with a MapMyFitness app.

All women are eligible to participate in this Challenge.

PRIZES

The top 3 registered participants at each store who record the highest overall mileage in the least time will win:

  • A Troy Lee Designs Mariposa Challenge Cycling jersey

The top 3 participants from all of the locations combined who record the highest overall mileage in the least time will win:

  • 1st place — XX1 Group
  • 2nd place — RockShox Pike Suspension Fork
  • 3rd place — SRAM Guide Ultimate Disc Brakes

AWARDS

  • First Ride – Awarded for recording your first ride
  • First 10 Miles – Awarded for recording 10 miles
  • First 100 Miles – Awarded for recording 100 miles
  • Full 31 – Awarded for recording a ride for each day of the Challenge
