DirtTRI Reviews – We Take ICEtrekkers Spikes For A Run

Winter time running can be a fun change of pace with a blanket of white snow covering the landscape. But along with that snow comes ice and the risk of injury. That’s where spikes and traction come into play.  To help you learn more about the products on the market, we tested and put together a review about ICEtrekkers Spikes.

Not for trail running

These spikes work well if you are running on flat, level, hard packed snow or ice (sidewalks, roads, dirt roads). However if you are on this site you are most likely a trail runner and we DO NOT RECOMMEND these spikes for trails, uneven surfaces, mixed terrain (snow/dirt/rocks), or soft snow. You'll spend more time slipping and sliding, and subsequently readjusting them, than you will enjoying the trail.
